Welcome to  Year 6

We are Year 6 and we are the oldest children in school. Our Teacher is Miss Pickersgill and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Wilson.  Mrs Proud will also be teaching us on a Thursday. This year is a very special year as it marks our final year in primary school. We are enjoying the responsibility of Year 6 through taking on new roles like Head Boy and Girl, librarians, and House Captains to name a few. We will be working very hard this year to ensure we have met all our primary curriculum objectives and will be studying some new topics this year as part of our curriculum.

Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday.  Our homework is online with a mixture of work set on SeeSaw, SATs Bootcamp and Doodle.  It is given out on Mondays. Homework must be completed by the following Monday. Children should complete a minimum of 15 minutes of reading at least three times a week (recordingthe pages they have read in their hoework diaries) and continue to practise spellings and times tables weekly.
