When learning about how nutrients are absorbed into our bodies, Year 6 conducted 2 investigations: the first investigation, using Skittles, demonstrated how nutrients are diffused into the bloodstream; the second investigation, involving jelly worms, demonstrated how water moves into the blood through a process called osmosis.
