Article 31: Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
This week it was wonderful to welcome parents and grandparents to play alongside their children for a range of special Halloween play provocations. Over the past few weeks, the children have shown a great interest in spiders, worms, Spider-Man, pumpkins and witches! It was a pleasure to share the Nursery daily routine with all parents and grandparents.
Throughout the session the adults were all encouraged to ‘play’ at the child’s level and follow their lead. Some children explored the outdoor area with jelly, water, slime and foam! Others preferred to explore the Halloween themed texts in the reading and role play areas.
