This morning, the children in Year 4 practised their multiplication tables by playing a maths game. They had a game sheet with a range of multiples in a grid and a 12 sided dice. The children had to multiply the number they rolled by 3 and colour a multiple of that value. The first to colour 5 multiples in a row won. Not only did it improve their multiplication knowledge but it also made them use strategy and logic to win. The children loved this game and got quite competitive too!
