Children are taught French in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6. The children focus on oral acquisition of language developing their vocabulary, phrases and sentence construction alongside clear pronunciation using games and role play resources. They also use written recording to show their developing knowledge, understanding and application of the language.
