Throughout this week the children in Nursery have been exploring a range of books and poems in the provision. Different texts have been carefully selected and added to the environment indoors and outdoors. The key text ‘Five Little Pumpkins’ by Ben Mantle and the poem ‘Take a Deep Breath’ by Joseph Coelho have been shared in the Nursery this week. Rhyming words and musical instruments have been explored together as a shared group. The children have greatly enjoyed accessing a range of texts from the Reading corner and also the Nursery Library time which happens every Thursday. Please continue to enjoy stories and poems with your children at home.
