The Angel of the North turns 25 on the 15th February 2023. To celebrate this special birthday, schools in Gateshead received a silver Angel knitted by friends at Gateshead Library and some Art Diamonds.

Children in school will be able to take Angel on an adventure each week and we hope this page will show you all the places Angel visits.

If you are lucky enough take Angel on an adventure, remember to share some images and information about your adventure with school. Schools who share adventures with Gateshead Council will be entered into a prize draw to win a day’s worth of Angel themed workshops with a local artist.
