As part of our science topic, we have been investigating if sound can travel through different states of matter. Using water and a tuning fork, a ukulele and string telephones we found out that sound can travel through liquids, gases and solids. The children were also brilliant at working out that the sound travelled through the string telephones better and much more clearly when they were pulled taught. Well done Year 4!
