Over the last couple of weeks in Reception, we have been looking at different types of holidays. The children have shown a real interest in the seaside so we have linked our areas of learning to this. The children have enjoyed role playing in our travel agents where they have used the brochures, euros, passports and boarding passes to book their friends a holiday. They have also enjoyed writing post cards to family back home, making seaside pictures, exploring shells and sea life creatures in the water area, making sandcastles in the sand and role playing in the ice cream shop.
