What a fantastic day we have had at Washington Wetlands. The children are part of the generation wild project where they have learnt all about ospreys. They have learnt about how they emerge from their eggs, grow and take their first flights. They learnt how they migrate. They enjoyed it through the story of Ava the bird girl and we will continue to follow her journey and complete tasks back in school in order to become a nature guardian. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the wetlands, seeing the otters and flamingos being fed and of course some time in the park.
