Article 28: We have the Right to a Good Quality Education

This week the children in Nursery have enjoyed accessing a range of maps and photographs of the local area in Birtley. The children have looked at a range of buildings and local landmarks also. In pairs and in small groups the children have enjoyed making routes and mapping walks in the blue outdoor area zones. The children have been able to add verbal narratives and story language to their maps and routes. The children have included directional language in their play and have also explored a range of prepositions. Following the early mapping play the children then decided to make a range of buildings and towers.
