Article 28: We have the right to a good quality education.
In Reception last term, we showed a huge interest in minibeasts and enjoyed searching for minibeasts around our school grounds. Reception were very excited to be introduced to some caterpillars that they had the opportunity to observe over time. The caterpillars eventually went into their cocoons and over the half term they transformed into butterflies. The children were happy to know they could keep the butterflies for one day to help feed them different fruits. We fed them some orange and strawberries. Eventually, it was time to let the butterflies go and the children were very excited to see the butterflies fly away.
