This week the children in Nursery have all explored a range of tasks and activities in the water area. The Early Years team have recently purchased new sponges, funnels and jugs specifically for the outdoor large-scale water area. The children have loved exploring Capacity and Measures through their self-led play! In the indoor water area pool the children have greatly enjoyed playing with animals, sea life toys and number fish. The children have enjoyed singing number rhymes and matching numbers and amounts to numerals and digits! The children have also been practising their subitizing skills as they play!
