Parent Partnerships ~ Easter Stay and Play ~ Nursery Class Mar 21, 2024

Article 29: We have the right to develop our talents and abilities.

This week Nursery had a special Easter Stay and Play morning with their parents and carers. In Nursery family time groups we have been exploring the religious festival of Easter which is celebrated by many people around the world. Easter is an important time of year for those who follow a Christian religious faith. The special celebration is intended to symbolise “New Life.” Easter is a very important festival in the Christian calendar.
On Easter Sunday, Christians may attend a special church service. However, you do not have to be a Christian to celebrate Easter. Non-religious or people from other faiths may choose to celebrate Easter in some way too.
In the Nursery class many Easter open-ended play tasks were displayed so that parents and carers could play alongside their own child. The children had a wonderful time counting and hunting for a range of eggs – some even braved the outdoor number egg hunt! The children show-cased their Maths Mastery counting and subitising skills to their parents following snack time. We hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating Easter at home also!
