It has been a very busy week in the Nursery, following the Easter break. It has been wonderful to welcome back our wonderful class family and some new recruits! All of the children have settled in so well and it has been fantastic to see all of the children make new friends in their play. From new jigsaw puzzles to play dough, water play to planting cress – it has been a very productive week with busy hands!
This week the children have explored the text “Jasper’s Beanstalk” by Nick Butterworth. The children have shown a keen interest in the gardening areas outdoors so as a class they have planted a range of cress and sunflower seeds. The children have already observed some changes in growth and size. The children have enjoyed making different observations and comparing the different sunflowers, observing their growth.
