STEM: Marble run, Lego, Dominoes and Ramps in the Early Years Mar 15, 2024

Article 29: We have the right to a good quality education.

This week the children in Nursery have all enjoyed exploring a range of provocations during Science Week. The children together have explored a range of STEM and physics themes linked to Science, Maths and Engineering. Ramps and rolling has been a huge child led interest with loose parts, tracks and large planks of wood. Observing the children explore gravity and objects rolling and falling has been wonderful to see. This week some of the nursery group decided to make their own obstacle course and others decided to explore with dominoes and wooden block play. The whole nursery group have been self motivated to explore ramps and rolling – whilst adding train tracks, tunnels and tubes.

Congratulations to Emmie for being the Nursery Young Scientist of the Week!
