Year 3 have been busy this half term planning and making fruit tarts using seasonal fruits as part of our design technology unit. They made their own pastry for the tart case and whipped the cream by hand. They then selected and chopped their seasonal fruits to finish off. The end results were impressive and the children enjoyed eating and evaluating their tarts.
